any idea what this funk is in my 10g with a betta?

I found some kind of funk in the tank with my betta, the only fish in the tank. has blasting sand as substrate and is planted.

Hard to tell, but it could be a slime mould (slime mold). Do an image search to see if it looks close.

hmm, i've never seen anything like that...following along.

it does kinda look like slime mold. the tank is newly started, about 2 weeks and I have just a betta in it, and i don't over feed him. what ever it is, it popped up just about over night.
