ANybody out there have a Zig-Zag EEL? - Aquarium Advice

Jsut wondering. I have one and I love him. At first he was hard to figure out cause I was unsure of what to feed him. But soon learned that he loves worrms. Earthworms or bloodworms- dead or alive.

I am jsut wondering how big he will get. He used to get works liek 1 tiem a week to every two weeks. But recently he has been out and begging for food almost every day. He has become and eating machine.

Jsut wanted to hear about other peoples experience with this fish...

From my understanding they will get over a foot. I've only had one and it got to about 8 inches before I sold it. There are many different supposed " max lengths" but expect about 1 foot 6 inches or a little more.

Wow that is crazy. If he gets that big might have to find him a new tank.

They can get to a little over a foot, yes. I feed my 2 fire eels every night, they just hoard the bloodworms.

Yup. My zigZag will fight the Kenyi Cichlids for the worms and typically win. HE jsut loves the stuff.
