Anyone know what this little hitchhiker is called?

Just found this snail on the leaf in my daughters 10 gal. We got some ottos a few months ago and it must have hitched a ride somehow because I have never seen it before.

He is a good guy by my description. But good or bad depends on your opinion.

They eat left over wast in the tank and burro during the day.

Bad IMO because 1 or 2 turns into 30 or 40 in a few weeks. I hate them.

I bought a few as puffer food two years ago and since got rid of the puffer but cant get rid of the snails. Finally got a clown loach that seems to be doing the job.
 
Trumpet snails are usually viewed as pests, they multiply very quickly. There are some ways to control them though, one of them being hanging a leaf of lettuce on the side of your tank at night, then the next morning, there should be a ton of them on it, dispose of it.
 
I had those guys I ended up, taking the gravel and decor, picked them all out, the accidentally released them into my backyard. They come back on the drive way, every time after it rains
