Aphids on Lilly Pads

In my pond on the lilly pads their are little bugs spreading all over them, I know they are bugs because they cam be wiped off but they come back within a day, and they look like aphids. Does anyone know of some sort of spray I could use that wouldn't harm the fish in the pond?

I know you can just use soapy water on dry land, but I have no idea what you would use in a pond. Ladybugs and praying mantis are also great on dry land, but I do know know if they would be effective on lilly pads. Perhaps something like dragonfly larva might help out.

Thanks for the advice, there are a few dragonflys around the pond so I guess I'll wait and see if that helps. Greenmagi I considered putting this in the pond section but thought I might find more help here since you guys all deal with plants, but then again you probably don't get aphids on your indoor aquarium plants, o well, thanks anyways.

krap101 would have answered the question in either section..[acronym:dc131e26c4="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:dc131e26c4]
but I might not have caught it.. Ive only done reading of questions in the pond section.. they are usually answered beyond my help by the time I get to read them maybe someday..[acronym:dc131e26c4="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:dc131e26c4]

Don't feed your fish, and spray off the aphids with the garden hose. Goldfish and koi will eat bugs when they can get them (more so if your fish are hungry). Spray them off daily for a week or so, longer if they are still around. Spray hard enough to knock off the bugs, but gentle enough not to damage your lilly pads!

Thanks for the advice, I'll try it. The mosquito fish actually gobble the aphids up, the only problem is that I have to rub them off for the fish to get to them, the hose is a great idea, thx.
