api phos-zorb? for tannins?

does phos-zorb help clear up water of tannins? i searched it and read the package. it just says it clears cloudy water caused by phosphates. this store does not carry purigent. anybody know?

I doubt it will work, because tannins are not phosphates, or caused by phosphates.

yeah, i knew tannins are not phosphates, but was not sure if it also worked in removing color i.e. tannins. i went with something else anyway. thanks.
