TO ANYONE WHO HAS AN AQUACLEAR FILTER!

How do you clean the middle part of the u-tube? I have a scrubby thing, but I can't get it to bend and go inside of the u-tube.

I use the brush that is for my canister hoses. Give the tip a little bend and it goes right through

get a drain plug chain..the kind with round beads,drop it thru tie rag/paper towel etc & pull.
looks like ... O-O-O-O-O-O
has small ring or method to attach to your sink drain plug .
cost $3?

Does it need to be that clean? I know it is unsightly, but I just clean it the best I can, shake the rest off and that's it.

A rag and some tough string should do the trick. I use and old rag and fishing line to clean my canister tubes and it works great.

I use an old toothbrush that's all bendy and weird looking. Gets most of the junk out and if it doesn't I put a rag on it. A few pipe cleaners tied together with a rag on top works wonders.

Petsmart has tube bridges a pack of 3 all different sizes, they work great
