Are All Thermometers Created Equal?

I'm looking for a new thermometer but not sure if they're all basically the same. Any specific brands/styles to look for?

They r mostly all the same. The strips r harder to read. Don't spend more than a cupple bucks on one.

i dont really care for the strips , I get the real ones that hang with a suction cup

Overall I would say the glass ones are the most reliable. However, I do like my digital one for quick water temp checks in my QT and/or acclimating bins.
