I have a 15 gallon hexagon tank that is 2 years old.
It started leaking last night :nono:

I was wondering if Hexagon tanks (because of their shape/configuration) are more prone to leaking?

And, how do I RESEAL hex tanks? The edges/corners don't connect like rectangle tanks.
I also noticed the original manufacturer seal was made from the OUTSIDE of the tank.

The only reason I could see them being more prone to leaking is just the odds... there's prob double the seals on ur hex then an equivalent rectangle or cube

+1^

and they actual should be less prone as the weight/force/water pressure would be more evenly distrubuted as there are more edges instead of less like on standard rectangular tanks

i would just go buy a 20G from petco for $20 bc they r having the $ per G sale right now...............
