are puffers poisonous for other fishes?

R aquarium puffers like the dwarf puffer or figure 8 poisonous for other fish if they eat the puffer corpse?

My dwarf puffer died a while ago. I saw my clayfish eat his body. Not long after it died too..

Yes it is possible. I am not certain that all puffers are poisonous, but many are known to be poisonous if eaten. I have seen a Fahaka puffer eat a dwarf puffer with no ill effect. These are some of the mysteries in this hobby.
