Well I wanted to know if I could secure a real plant to artificial driftwood? Most likely temporary but maybe longer?

ok, well I don't know how to delete this..but after Youtube, I found the answer..sorry

I think it would be fine, but after a few weeks or months the roots might become attached (depending on what plant it is) and it will be difficult to remove it.
I had an anubias on some real driftwood and after a few months decided that I wanted to relocate it. Well, needless to say even though the anubias is alive and well, there are many remaining pieces of roots still on that old driftwood!
I have even had an anubias attach it's roots to the glass of my aquarium.

That is what I got..I am soaking my new driftwood now so will be good in a few days and I will move the anubias there..
