Assassins eating shrimp

Just come home to find one of my assassin snails ( bought to cure a pest problem in my shrimp tank ) munching on ( what looks like ) one of my black bee shrimp.
Anyone ever exeperienced this?

My assassin snails will eat a shrimp that's already dead, but they leave the live ones alone.

My experience is the same as BigJim's, I don't see a healthy shrimp letting a snail attack and kill it.
