attaching plants to the walls

i went to the hardware store today and bought some plastic mesh used for keeping leaves out of your gutter. i also bought some clear plastic suction cups.

went to the fish store and got some anubias for my tank, as well as a bit of java moss.

here is how i went about attaching these to my tank wall.



here are the suction cups and the gutter guard from the hardware store. cost me under $10



trimmed down a piece of gutter guard with some nail clippers, and used some monofilament to attach a small piece of anubias.



once attached, i trimmed down the gutter guard.



i did this with some anubias and also some java moss and attached it to the wall of my tank. super easy and cheap. hope it is helpful.

 
Nice idea! I like that it's not the hideous white that the plastic canvas is that people usually use
 
Very nice! I agree that black is a good choice, particularly if you have a black background.
