Well, I’m a parent. I’ve got a 220 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump, had the cabinet door open the other night and noticed movement in the sump. Looks like my acarichthys heckelii had babies, all of which are swimming around in my sump now. They range from about 1/2-3/4”, I’ve got a big section of bioballs that they’re swimming around in so can’t really get a count of how many there are, 10...30..?

What’s the best way to catch and raise them? Anybody want some fish? Hah.

I’ve got a spare 40 gallon breeder at my parents’ house I can get ahold of, but I’m not sure how long I can raise them in that.

I would think turn off sump and remove bio balls..Then just net them[always sounds easy enough!]..
Congrats on the fry, nice score on a cool fish.
