Baby Cory Cat is completely MIA

Hi

One of my cory's (about 3/4 in. in size) is completely MIA for over 12 hrs now.


He is/was in a tank with gouramis. Is it possible he was entirely digested? I moved decorations, checked the filter, etc. no where to be found.


Also, this tank is sand substrate. Is it possible he buried himself somewhere?


Any suggestions where to look?


I interrogated the cats even. The kitten has a guilty look, but can't get to the tank.

Did you check the floor and stand really well to see if he jumped?

i found him =( he buried himself in the substrate apparently to die =(
