Backgrounds?

Hey everyone I was wondering if there ate any benefits to black backgrounds I have black Sand and stuff

It could give more depth to the tank and hide all the cords hanging out of the tank. It will also look nicer

Definitely go for it. you can use like black construction paper or something.

I use a black garbage bag on the back of my tank...for now. I want to eventually have a moss curtain there instead.

How do you apply the background

I have used black fabric from a local fabric store. You can do any color you want.

A lot of people paint the back of the tank with a regular paint roller. I see a lot of black and blue tank backgrounds. Just be aware that it is very hard to get off once its on there. If you type in "painted background" in the search function at the top of the page you will find a lot of info on the subject.
