Backup Battery for Freshwater Aquariums?

Has anyone every used a back-up battery like the one above for their freshwater aquariums? I see saltwater aquarium owners use them, but nothing really on freshwater. Will these work with freshwater pumps and heaters? Are they worth it? We can have the power go out for a few hours once or twice a year and I am always stressed about the temperature dropping. I currently have a battery powered air pump so we are good there, it is really the heater I am concerned with. Thank you!

We have a modified computer backup. Always nice to know you have some time.

I have an 8000 watt generator that I have to haul up from the barn whenever power goes out (thankfully not very often), place on the patio, and run cords through the house (the wife loves that). The battery pack would be a lot more convenient.

Would the heater have issues switching between AC and DC current?
