Besides Angelfish...

Hello! I'm trying to decide what fish to get in place of angelfish for my 55g tank. I think I have some issue with them... Here's what is already in the tank:
x10 Diamond Tetras
x2 L. curviceps
x7 Panda Corydoras
x6 Peppered Corydoras

What else could I add for a larger 'centerpiece' friend?

I was thinking about the gourami, or maybe a severum would work? I've always loved the way they look and act, but would they be too big?

Size wise iffy. They can get up to 8 inches. I would be more concerned about aggression though

Yeah that is true. I probably will get the pearl gouramis

I hadn't thought of leopard gouramis. I'm not sure if they have them where I go. All though they did have festivums. I didn't buy anything but I'm really leaning between the pearl gouramis and the festivums.

I actually am a huge angel FREAK!!!! I just love them and I would recommend them. Depends what's in your tank now. I am just saying they are awesome.

Silver dollars do best in schools and grow too large for a 55g. They also eat plants so if your tank is planted it won't be for long.
