Best filter

Hiya i was just wondering what is the best filtration system you can buy

There is not really a best filtration. It really depends on purposes.

Not only for the situation, but what you can afford. I would love to have a canister filter, but I dont have $300+ to drop on one. The HOB filters I am currently using are working so far OK, but I am still planning on getting new filters.

Depends on the size of your tank. Overall I would say canister filters however.

If you have a betta or fry tank sponge filters or adjustable HOB filters. Most of the time canister is best but they are expensive.
