I think ill make a divider for the 55 then and separate the parents until the fry are old enough

Fry really should not be kept in a 55g as hatchlings due to the depth. Deep tanks can affect their development when very tiny (size of a hair).

My suggestion is to take things one step at a time right now. Get your tank running and stable. Start looking for an appropriate male. Spend some reading and researching on breeding and raising goldfish fry. Fancy fry are immensely labor intensive and can be quite difficult but incredibly interesting to watch grow and develop and mature. Don't hesitate to ask questions!
