Best method to clean off excess silicone off aquarium glass?

Bought a new tank, brand new.
Its a nice tank, but there seems to be so much silicone in areas like the middle of the glass etc. etc.
The tank maker must of unknowingly had silicone stuck on his fingers, touching the tank in all areas and smothering it around the tank.

What's the best way to take this off. I'm a little scared to use blades. I don't want to scratch the glass.

if it is a glass tank you will not scratch it with a razer blade but a plexiglass tank you might

I have just tried a bit with a razor blade. Still does not come off.
What kind of silicone is this lol
