I was told it's possible to have a couple of colisa lalia and a betta (male). Has anyone got these fish together?

I don't keep betta's but I did some reading on both fish and there should be no problems. I would set the Ph for the colisa as the betta is pretty tolerant of anything from 6.0-8.0 and it was recomended to filter the water for the coloisa with peat.A single betta is quite compatible with a peaceful community aquarium :D

shouldn't be a problem, all fish are different so i would watch for awhile, but usually betta males won't bother something unless it has long fins or is very colorful ( although i did have a black molly murderer once )....i was once told that you have to pick fish that the betta won't see as "prettier than himself" and therefore as competition
