hmmm sounds like a risk i'd rather not take...

how big would the tank need to be if i wanted to get one and put him/her in their own tank?

You can keep a Senegal Bichir like that in a 55 in all honesty. At that close of quarters, I wouldn't advise on tankmates personally. Even a 40 long would work. They have the same footprint, they don't really care about having height (until they go take a breath of air).

Well thats good to know... I may just pick one up for my 55 once the shift is complete... if I pick one up he/she will be in a tank alone figured it be better that way.
