I can't think of a single fish that big appropriate for a tank that size.

I have very hard water and high pH... I read that the Electric Blue Acara likes low pH... wouldn't that be a bad idea to get that fish?

Most American cichlids prefer soft, acidic water. The blue acara can handle harder water.
