A friend of mine owns a 60 litre bio orb with a gravel bottom which currently only contains one tetra and she was wondering what other fish would be suitable to fit inside the tank. However she has already been promised two bristle nosed plecos and is worried about overfilling the tank.
Any advice would help her greatly

I don't know, my own personal experience with biorbs suggests probably say no to bnp's. only as they have little on the bottom. A small group of schooling fish perhaps.

If there is enough vertical decor then IMO one bnp would be ok. They spend more of their time on and under rocks/plants than on the actual substrate. This is assuming the filtration system is up to the challenge. Your friend will need to add at least 5 more neons.

Maybe a thin little sort of flat driftwood too.

Awesome looking little set ups, (I personally haven't had time to complete my research on them.)

I think they would be cool for dwarf shrimp! That Is what I was thinking of them for!

A few Otos may be a better selection.

2 BN is a great reason to start a new tank!!!
