Black background or Busy background?.....
I've thinking about switching my busy background for a plain black backround ..been thinking about this a while but haven't really tried it..(too lazy! :P ) Does anybody have any opinions or ideas??....thanks!

I looooove my black background. It is actually painted on (on the back). I think it makes all the colors in the tank pop, especially if its planted.

I assume you have light colored fish? If you have any dark ones they'll get lost against a black background. Otherwise, I'd always vote for plain over busy. But then, my tank has no background at all!

yeah its kind of 'high-medium planted' but not quite heavyly planted..and it has 6 neon tetras and 2 otos...

I'd go with black. It's hard to find a good "busy" background that blends with the tank.

Have always used black. It sets off the stuff in the tank so much better. And I've never found a "busy background" that didn't look fake.

so what can I use to make the background black?..could I use plain black trash bags??

On both my 29gal, I painted a white poster board black (or you could just use a black poster board hehe).
