G'day all
I'm looking for a way to strip that black Algie. Would bleach strip it off I want it gone and is taking forever to scrape it off
Any help would be great thanks

Are we talking about black beard algae? What are you stripping it off of?

Also, cleaning it is one thing... What needs to be done is get to a root cause so you can keep it from coming back.

+1

Typically, algae will form when there's some type of imbalance in your tank.

Do you have any live plants in your tank?

How long do you leave your lights on every day?

If you have plants, are you adding any fertilizers and/or CO2 to your tank?

Is your tank anywhere near a window where sunlight can hit it?

How often are you changing your water, and how much?

What's your water parameters? (ammonia / nitrIte / nitrAte)
