just need sum info on the BGK fish,
i'm looknig at swapping sum fish for one, and need to do sum research..
any recommended reading sites?

You know they can get up to 24"? Also, they are very shy, I had one and I rarely saw him do anything but sit on the bottom of the tank. Not my favorite fish, even though he looked so cool in the pet store.

I had a Clown Knife that was much more interesting to watch. If you have the tank size and really want a knife, I think thats the way to go.

So you have the tank size, but I still think there are cooler fish to fill it with. Its all up to you though. Care-wise, I've found knifefish to be actually really hardy, just don't put them with agressive fish or fish small enough for them to eat whole.

ok, seem to have all the info i need..
compatability worries me a little bit..
it'll be with three oscars temporarily..
but my oscars are sooks from 10" down to 3"
the knife is around 4-5" long...
personally i think it'll be ok... think i'll put one on hold at the lfs

If the BGK can fend itself it might be able to survive. I had a 3 inch BGK harassed to death by my smaller angelfish and zebra danios.
