Black Lyre Tail Mollies
My husband has an interest in getting some mollies for the tank, he likes the black ones, but don't they need salt in the water? Is it necessary? I have read that some mollies need salt and others don't. I am so confused!!!

They need salt. If they don't have it, they will get finrot, fungus, and popeye (I'm sure there are others) quite frequently.

I agree. Others will say they don't need it, but [acronym:140ddea5e7="In My Experience"]IME[/acronym:140ddea5e7] illness is almost negligible with the use of salt. If he likes mollies and you don't want to salt, look at swords or platies.
