Bleeding Heart Tetra

Hi

I have a book on aquarium fish. It says that you can keep bleeding heart tetra in pairs.
Is this true?

Any input would be much appreciated

From what I've read on here and other forums, Bleeding Hearts, like tother tetras are schooling fish and do best in a group of 5+.

Mine are quite often very nippy and that is in a shoal of 6. I would say, they would probably be quite timid, and nippy if kept in a pair.
