Yes as long as the tank has enough hiding spots and swimming area. If you get the same sexes. I had 2 males in my 280 and 2 males in my 55 and they did fine with each other. The trouble starts when you add a female to the mix like I did I thought she was a he lol. So I had to get my Bolivian a gf and than all was great in the 280 . You can also get a male and female and they might pair up.

I used to have one of each as shown in my avatar. They were fine together. One wasn't any more dominant than the other. Sometimes they would chase each other around. Other times they would hang out right next to each other.
