Aquarium Advice Freak
I'm longing for some blue tiger shrimp, but with such a HUGE investment, I need to know I can make a home for the little guys. (And it sure wouldn't hurt if they had lots of beautiful blue babies to help me get back my investment). 
Are they hard to keep? I plan to house them in a 5 or 10 gallon planted tank. I'll get whatever substrate you guys recommend for them. My MAIN concern is my tap's ph. It's 7.6-7.8. I know that's high for them. I'm not opposed to getting water from another source for that tank though since the tank will be small. Would jugs of water from Wal-mart work or is it stripped of minerals?
