Bnp gender

My pleco is 2.5 inches Long and I'm not sure about the gender. It has two little bristles on the front but otherwise it is smooth. Does anyone know the gender or is it too early to tell? Thanks

I believe male begin growing bristles when they are 3-4 inches in length. Give it alittle more time.
