Bolivian rams and cockatoo cichlids

A breeding pair? That's a bit iffy. They could aggressive towards the ram when in breeding mode. However the tank is large enough that it may work.
 
Are they bolivians? In a 47g tank they should be fine. what other fish where you planning to keep with them?
 
Depends on the footprint of the tank. If it's a long tank it should be ok. If this is one of those 47 Column style tanks, I would say no. Both these species stay almost exclusively toward the bottom of the tank. A pair would be ok, but with multiple pairs and multiple species they just won't have enough space to claim territories IMO.
