botia loach

Does anyone else have one of these?? I just saw him stick his entire head out of the water four or five times when he went up for some food.

I still haven't heard any clicking.

Oh, and my frog is shedding his skin. Interesting day.

Well, if you mean the angelicus ones, no I don't. Today I did see my yoyo's and mountain loaches go to the surface to eat food though. Very interesting.

Yeah, that's the one. I mentioned before he practically climbed out of the water in the bag, now I see he likes to take a peek out of the water every once in a while. I think he was going for algae or something like that above the water line. He's really a cool fish to watch.

my clown loach does that all the time. His snout stick out of the water and sort of "wiggles" as if trying to find snails or something.

It seems to be a pretty common thing from what i have witnessed.
