Bottom piece on aquarium - Aquarium Advice

I noticed that on my 25g, I forgot to put the bottom piece (the plastic thing) on the tank. Its already filled with water, cycled, and has fish so i dont want to have to take it apart again. Will it be fine?

What plastic thing are you talking about? Is it part of a [acronym:76e3cbfe0b="Under Gravel Filter"]UGF[/acronym:76e3cbfe0b] (Under Gravel Filter)? What does this plastic piece look like?

You don't need an under gravel filter in this day and age...don't worry about it.

What kind of filter are you using?
