bristlenose pleco question
Just what is the genus and species of the bristlenose pleco that is supposed to be so good at eating algae? They get about 4.5" I think. I've seen some references to Ancistrus species.

To the best of my knowledge the Ancistrus is the genus. There are several different species out there. One of the more common is sp. 3, which is what I have. Go over to planetcatfish.com and do some searching in their cat e-log for some better info.
