Hello!

So lately in my 55 gallon Mbuna tank I've been having a major brown algae issue! The rock is from my local quarry but has been cleaned up real nicely before use. The last time I cleaned the algae out and off of everything was this past Sunday.

How do I combat this as it is everywhere and it looks so ugly!

Is your tank by a window and receives a lot of sunlight?
Possible UV filter would help after a good cleaning.
I have the same issue cause its by a window but i have no money to buy a UV filter

I have the same problem bcuz mine is near a window...instead of a uv filter I am thinking about getting those blackout curtains that doesn't let light thru...a whole lot cheaper than a uv filter
