I have a 10 gallon tank, with 5 plants, a marimo moss ball, and 5 baby fish. Do I need a bubbler? I figured since plants produce oxygen then I wouldn't need a bubbler system, but I'm not comletely sure. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Plants or no plants, bubblers aren't strictly necessary for aeration.

Most aeration happens as a result of surface agitation. Waves or ripples in the surface of the water create friction with the air that promotes gas exchange. Most modern filters provide sufficient surface agitation (unless one's tank is overstocked) making bubblers unnecessary.

On a side note, plants do produce oxygen, but they also consume it. On balance, they do produce more than they consume, but consume they do.

In any event, if your filter provides surface agitation, bubblers likely won't be necessary from an oxygenation standpoint, but they can be aesthetically pleasing. :)

Best!
