I have 5 cory cats, and 4 are juliis. The 5th one looks like a mix between a julii and a bronze cory. It has a brown head and bronze stripe all around the head at the eyes, but after that it is spotted like the juliis. The black on it's top fin doesn't completely cover the top like the other's do. Is this just a different species, or could they mix?

Pictures would help immensely. Generally speaking, most fish won't interbreed if left to their own devices as they are programmed to go after their own species first, although sometimes their wires do get crossed.

Except livebearers, but then again, they're livebearers...

It's probably a different species, but they can mix. I've had a mix of panda and false julii.

Here is a pic, kind of hard to see.
