I want to purchase some very cool looking spotted pleco at a place where I saw ick in several tanks.
Will a pleco survive a week at 86F = 30C ?

If you slowly raise the temp over a couple days, I don't see any problems. Do the same when cooling down afterwards. Are you planning on buying one and placing into QT and doing heat treatment as a precausion?
