I have a 15 gal. tank w/ 5 glow fish, 1 alge eater and 1 dwarf frog. When I got the frog I took out the filter because I thought it my suck my frog and kill it and I just didnt want to take that chance. But my tank gets dirty quicker and I have to clean it more often so just wanted to know can I have a filter w/ this type of frog, if I can what kind is the best to get. I hope ya'll can help thanks.

Is it a HOB filter? You can get cloth socks or bag type of things that go around the intake of filter. Wellcome!!

Ya, it is not a problem. The filter (if it is a HOB) usually has a cage around the intake. If it dosent you can use a stocking to cover the intake.

In the past when i have had frogs in, I have never had any issues with a HOB filter. The frogs stay away and never seemed to have a problem swiming to the surface for air.
