I'm cycled and on my way to being stocked. Here are my numbers:
Ammonia = 0 ppm
Nitirite = 0 ppm
Nitrate = 10 ppm
PH = 7.2-7.6 (hard to read, kind of inbetween)
High PH = 8.0

I tested the PH amounts over a month ago before cycling with fish, they haven't changed much, have gone down slightly.

My understanding is that a constant PH is better than trying to regulate. My fish are happy and I can't see why I would want to change anything.

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

Your pH is 8. You don't need the low pH card. They just throw both in to cover all the bases. So from now on when you test just compare the high pH card.

As for the level. Yes its best to stay level. A higher than normal pH for the fish is much better than a pH that bounces because of chemical additives that try to regulate pH.
