Hi all, I'm new here.

I bought a piece of driftwood for my new tank. I soaked the driftwood in warm water for two hours and scrubbed it down. Then I tried to placed it in my tank and realized it's too large for my tank... :banghead:

I wanted to return this piece of driftwood since it was expensive, but I worry that the fish store can tell the driftwood is "used". Can you really tell if a driftwood has been used? My driftwood is dry now and I can't tell a difference.

Thank you for reading!

Do new driftwoods smell differently than old driftwoods? I didn't smell anything.

Just let it dry out real good and then take it back, they should be happy to add least exchange it for one that fits
