I just bought a Marineland c-530 canister fliter.. I set it up and it is flitering. But is making a nosie like the bio balls are bounching around. is this normal. Thanks

It's a possibility it could be a little air in the filter, sometimes when I start up my XP3 it sounds like that til the air clears out. Give it a little time and see if it clears up. If not, might try adding a sponge to take up the excess space where the bioballs are to see if that solves the problem.

I wouldn't recommend tipping a canister filter upside-down. Might tip it a little side to side, but it should clear itself out if it's air. If it's the bioballs from strong flow, you might need to fill the excess space with a sponge or more bioballs.

thanks for the help... stuck some spone where the bio balls were and the noise cleared right up.. Thank you for the help :multi:
