Canopy/Lighting question
Let me start by saying that I am not sure which forum this needs to be in..but here goes:
I am upgrading to a 75g, and am going to build a canopy for it. This tank, to start, will not have any plants, however, I would like to leave myself open for expanding the lighting scheme. I am confused as to the types of lighting, ballasts, premade or DIY, etc, and looking for a little guidance. I don't want this thread to become a general soundoff on lighting, but can someone point me out some links that can give a good explanation on what the different types of lighting are, what is necessary for different types of tank setups. TIA |

I suggest the planted forum for over all lights and scroll through the DYI forum,go back a few pages....I know I've seen some diy lighting threads in there.
