Question for you all.. I used triple sulfa and aquarium salt for 4 days in my 30g because I started to get fin rot and also what looked like columnaris in the tank.. The fin rot is gone (along with some of my BB as im reading 1ppm ammonia) and my fish are healing.. I changed 25% of the water and add'd carbon back in my HOB filter I rinsed it like I usually do and the next morning my tank was so dark/black I thought a bulb burned out on my T5 fixture but it was fine..

The Tripple sulfa did make my tank really tan color when I was using it.. Like I had major tannins in the water or something but it wasn't black like this. So I did a 80% water change and its much better looking but I guess I will see in 24 hours if the water gets black again... Any idea's what is causing this ? Is it the carbon reacting with the meds in the water ?
