OK so i have to catch 4 guppies in my tank. Its planted so i cant get a net to the bottom. I have justbeen using a cup and trapping them on the wall when they get currious, but its not working, they hide when i put the cup in the tank. I got 4 left to catch any tips?

food may work but i cant cat a net behind the plants they hide in

a glass coke/liquer/beer bottle. Just clean it out and place it in the tank, they'll get curious and eventually go inside the bottle. They'll probably try to hide in it when you put your hand in the tank too so it will be easy. No need to pour them out into whatever container/tank you are moving them too. Just place it in the container and they'll come out on their own.

When I had to catch a bunch of zebra danios, I used food and a clear sandwich bag. I would put some food in the bag and float the bag sideways in the tank. I caught all but the last one that way. (There always seems to be one.)
