Looks like a big feeder goldfish, be careful fish can choke easily, lost a grass pickerel like that.

He's now happy in his 55. He used to be in a 10. Poor little fellow. But yeah, fed him a night crawler a couple hours ago, no pic though..

I like natives but have shyed away from the bigger stuff just because I don't want to accommodate them with huge tanks as they get bigger, lol.

Does he eat any prepared foods?

Nope. Simply goldfish, worms, June bugs, grasshoppers, etc.

A great fish.
He always follows me around when I'm in the room
