Ceramic tiles

I've no gravel or sand in my tank rite now, Just live plants and a wood in the middle. I'm thinking of going with gravel and ceramic tiles mix, will there be any issues. I see people with tiles but I'm not sure if its ok to go with.

Sounds interesting. Do you mean household floor and wall tiles? If that, I'd check for any sharp edges. Can you send back details?
