Changing Gravel to Sand

What is the least invasive way to change out gravel to sand in an existing 20H aquarium?

Im going to be doing the exact same thing (again) soon in the exact same aquarium type...

Im thinking my large siphon vac should help a lot

Put the critters in a bucket. Drain the tank. Remove the decor and equipment. Take the gravel out of the tank and put it in a bucket. Add sand. Add equipment and decor. Add critters. Put some gravel in media bags, put the bags in the tank. Leave them there for something like two weeks (not solid on that). Done!

Take a gallon or so and rinse yer filter media im it, dump that.
Than also save some of the tank water to put yer filter media into so it stays wet while yer doing the change over, so you dont kill any BB
